It’s one of those dead pregnancy giveaways when a friend suddenly turns down a glass of wine – but not everyone gives up the booze when they’re expecting a baby, and it’s left one partner turning to the internet for help.
One woman has confessed her situation to online forum Mumsnet, explaining how her pregnant wife is drinking every single day, despite her voicing concerns.

“Our second baby is due in a few months and all through pregnancy my wife has drank alcohol,” the woman wrote.
“Not a lot, but at least one alcoholic drink every other day. A glass of wine or a beer - we aren't talking tequila shots.”

The woman goes on to say her wife – who drank during her first pregnancy but only “maybe four glasses" - feels she’s overreacting, but she can’t help struggle with the situation.
The woman admits her wife's drinking wasn't an issue with their first pregnancy.
The dilemma has sparked hundreds of comments, with many slamming the woman and telling her to back off.
You are over-reacting completely,” commented one.
“Honestly you need to back off. It is her body and her right to manage her pregnancy however she sees fit,” added another.
However others have supported the woman, claiming the mum-to-be should lay off the booze.
“Surprised at the replies so far! I think having that much alcohol in pregnancy is wrong and unnecessary,” wrote one. “Every other day? She clearly has a problem, that poor baby, I've never understood people drinking or smoking or doing drugs in pregnancy, they are all bad and it's only 9 months just don't do it!”
